Refund policy

1. Overview

At Bear Trail Bikes, we strive to make every purchase simple, transparent, and worry-free. Whether you choose local pickup or statewide delivery, your order is handled with care from start to finish.

2. Free Local Pickup

We offer free pickup at our two Colorado locations:

• Lakewood, CO
• Rifle, CO

Once your e-bike is ready, we’ll send you an email with your pickup date, time, and location. At pickup, please bring your proof of Colorado residency (driver’s license or state ID) to confirm eligibility for the $225 Colorado E-Bike Tax Credit.

3. Statewide Shipping

We do not offer shipping.

4. Returns and Refunds

We want you to love your new e-bike.
Bear Trail Bikes accepts returns within 30 days of pickup or delivery, as long as the bike is:

• Unused and in original condition
• Returned with all original packaging, tags, and accessories

Once inspected, refunds will be processed promptly to your original payment method.

For all Aventon bikes 

• If you wish to make a return, if the item to be returned is in new and unused condition, you may return the item subject to the restocking fee in the amount of twenty percent (20%) of the purchase price.

5. Refund Policy

Customers may request a refund at any time after purchase if:

• They no longer wish to wait for their e-bike, or
• They decide to use their Colorado E-Bike Tax Credit with another certified retailer.

Refunds will be processed promptly upon request, with no penalties or delays.

6. Warranty

Every Bear Trail Bike includes a 30-day limited warranty from the date of pickup or delivery. This warranty covers manufacturer defects and ensures your bike performs as promised.
It does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage from misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications
